川東虛骨龍屬（學(xué)名：Chuandongocoelurus）是獸腳亞目恐龍的一屬，化石發(fā)現(xiàn)于中國(guó)四川省東部，所屬地層是大山鋪組的下沙溪廟組，地質(zhì)年代是侏羅紀(jì)中期的巴統(tǒng)階或卡洛夫階。
模式種是原始川東虛骨龍（C. primitivus），是由中國(guó)古生物學(xué)家何信祿于1984年所發(fā)現(xiàn)、命名。屬名意為“四川省東部的虛骨龍”的意思[2]。
川東虛骨龍被命名時(shí)，被歸類于虛骨龍科[2]；當(dāng)時(shí)的無(wú)法歸類小型獸腳類恐龍，多被歸類于虛骨龍科。在1990年，大衛(wèi)·諾曼（David B. Norman）將川東虛骨龍歸類于獸腳亞目的分類不明屬[3]。R.B. Benson近年提出川東虛骨龍的單脊龍的姊妹分類單元，兩者組成一個(gè)演化支，可能屬于斑龍超科[4][1]、或者是屬于堅(jiān)尾龍類，但不屬于斑龍超科[5]。
化石是一個(gè)部份骨骼，包括部份的脊椎、骨盆、四肢骨頭及肩胛骨碎片。由于脊椎的骨縫未愈合，顯示該個(gè)體是個(gè)未成年個(gè)體。川東虛骨龍的骨骼與坦桑尼亞的輕巧龍很相似。川東虛骨龍可能是種原始角鼻龍類恐龍，但也有一些類似雙脊龍、食肉牛龍的特征。在2010年的斑龍類研究中，川東虛骨龍被歸類于斑龍超科的基礎(chǔ)物種[1]。根據(jù)股骨長(zhǎng)度、與輕巧龍的比較，川東虛骨龍的身長(zhǎng)估計(jì)約2.4公尺，體重為12公斤。
由于牠的化石都是碎片，故被認(rèn)為是疑名[6]。
